Not what I expected and disappointed in sound
Left the theatre at intermission! This was not what we expected, unfortunately. We couldn't find a story line in this feature. The fact that we couldn't hear the words to the songs very well really impacted our ability to enjoy this show. Something I never dreamed - we actually left. Apparently we weren't alone - 3 other couples left the balcony BEFORE intermission. The idea of sitting thru another 75 minutes was worse than thinking about how much we pd for the tickets and were losing out. Normally I wouldn't be concerned about balcony seating - but it makes me wonder with the sound quality if it was the theatre or the actors just not having perfect diction and singing softly. A few of the individual performances stood out - amazing singing. But when the entire troupe sang - we just couldn't make out the words. Very disappointing.
